The Yasar Gida plant is now benefitting from the cost-effective energy solutions provided by EWT.
Yasar Gida (part of Yasar Group) is a machine manufacturer to agricultural industry, which also has rice processing plant, which is mainly used as an R&D center for machines they manufacture and export to 30 countries worldwide. The factory is located in Ipsala, northwest of Istanbul near the border with Greece. The plant machinery processes 150 tons of rice per day; It is a high energy consuming business. The DIRECTWIND54-900kW turbine is directly connected to the plant’s electrical network in order to reduce the owner’s reliance on electricity from the national grid and to offset his current energy costs.
