The solar project, which is close to the village of Bridgewater in Somerset, has been acquired from a local developer.

The company will also act as the EPC service provider for the project, which is expected to be grid-connected by the end of March, 2014, and will be accredited under 1.6 ROCs.

ET Solar Energy president and CEO Dennis She said the UK market entry represents a significant achievement for company’s system business.

"With our EPC execution and financing capabilities, we are well positioned to further grow our business in this new market," She added.

ET Solar is in the process of acquiring another 8.4 MWp project which would start in the middle of March, 2014, in line with firm’s UK target of 80 MWp for 2014.
