Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (EPRS), the Serbian power utility in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has announced the launch of a tender for the concession to construct and operate Buk Bijela and Srbinje hydro power plants.

According to the tender, the two projects will be offered on a 30-year build, operate, transfer (BOT) basis, with the possibility of extending the concession for an additional 20 years.

The Buk Bijela hydro power plant, with installed capacity of 450MW and average annual production of 1150GWh, together with Srbinje hydro power plant which has an installed capacity of 55.5MW and mean annual generation of 195GWh, will be located on the Drina river 334.5km and 324.5km respectively from the confluence of the Drina into Sava River.

Bidding documents are available for purchase from 16 August.
