As part of the deal, JSI will involve in developing, designing and building of the project, along with handling the operations.
The design phase of the project is expected to start in early summer of this year, while construction and final completion is scheduled for the end of 2014.
The new project, which is expected to be built on around 100 acres, will power over 3,800 homes throughout the year.
EPE CEO Tom Shockley said the company continues to look for opportunities to add cost effective solar energy such as the Newman Solar project.
