Christopher Delbruck, chief financial officer (CFO) of E.ON Nordic, will replace Mr Abrahamsson at E.ON Energy Trading. Marc Hoffmann, head of controlling and finance at E.ON Nordic, will step up as CFO of Nordic. All three management changes are effective from July 1, 2010.

Mr Abrahamsson takes over the role from the outgoing CEO, Hakan Buskhe, who leaves the company to take up a new role. Mr Buskhe will stay until the July 31, 2010, in order to handover to Mr Abrahamsson.

Mr Abrahamsson joined the E.ON Group in 1991. Following a number of roles in the former Sydkraft, he took responsibility for Energy Trading within the Nordic Market Unit in 2002 and joined the Management Board in 2004. He joined E.ON Energy Trading as CFO in 2008 as the business was being established.

Christopher Delbrück, who takes over Mr Abrahamsson’s position as CFO at E.ON Energy Trading, currently holds the position of CFO at E.ON Nordic, based in Malmo. Before moving to Sweden, he was responsible for Business Development for the Market Units Central Europe and Pan European Gas at E.ON AG Corporate Center in Dusseldorf.

Marc Hoffmann, new CFO of E.ON Nordic joined the E.ON Group in 2001 and previously held a position in the controlling department at E.ON AG Corporate Center.
