The wind project to be developed and built by Gamesa Energy, will utilize 18 G90 and one G87 Gamesa turbines with a rated capacity of 2MW.
As per the acquisition, full ownership will be transferred to enXco, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions, which is expected by the end of 2011.
Delmarva Power and Light Company, a subsidiary of PHI, will purchase the energy produced under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
This acquisition marks the first operational wind asset of EDF EN in Pennsylvania.
enXco is a subsidiary of an EDF Energies Nouvelles company.
