The UK’s Environment Agency (EA) is working in partnership with other bodies to improve the construction industry’s level of environmental performance, according to the Construction Industry Environmental Forum.
At a consultation workshop held in March 2000, a variety of issues were discussed including improving communication between the EA, clients and contractors; promoting partnerships; raising awareness and providing environmental training among smaller companies within the industry.
