Enexus is the company Entergy will spin off as the new owner of its wholesale nuclear plants. Mr Burke has been associate general counsel for Entergy, where he was lead counsel for Entergy’s nuclear business.
Mr Burke joined Entergy in 2005 and has managed legal services for the company’s regulated and unregulated nuclear operations, including legal aspects of nuclear business development, regulation, relicensing, litigation, and other areas.
Michael Kansler, chief nuclear officer for Entergy who will head the new EquaGen organization, said: Terry’s extensive background in utility law, especially with matters involving nuclear operations and management, will continue to make him a vital part of the core leadership at EquaGen.
