Enertrag had applied for eight 125-meter turbines on land between Baumber and Wispington, near Horncastle, in July 2009 but its plans were suspended by council officials in October 2009.

Enertrag UK Project Developer David Linley said: “We had another letter from East Lindsey District Council and we are going to keep corresponding and communicating with them.

“We are in the process of lodging an appeal to the planning inspectorate for non-determination,” said Linley.

“It will bring the application to an inquiry and it’s a lot quicker,” added Linley.

The proposal wind farm lacks support from residents since it was announced.
