US-based electrical and instrumentation services provider Energy Service Holding (ESH) has acquired electrical contracting company JW Powerline in the country.

ESH, a portfolio company of Cadent Energy Partners II, serves the needs of utility providers as well as independent and major oil companies across the Permian Basin and West Texas, US.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Energy Services Holding CEO Leo Sniger said, "We believe there are many cross-selling opportunities where we can introduce their service offerings to our existing customer base, as well as selling our current services to JW Powerline’s West Texas customer base."

JW Powerline founder Jimmy Webb said, "The support and infrastructure of ESH will allow us to continue on our growth trajectory."

Cadent Energy Partners vice president Steve Tadlock said, "ESH continues to grow both organically and through acquisitions."
