Planning the four Enercon turbines in the Eimsheim Wintersheim wind farm (Rhineland-Palatinate) was a joint endeavour of Energiequelle and G.A.I.A. (Lambsheim, Rhineland-Palatinate). The annual power output from the new wind farm is forecast at around 30GWh, which equates to the power consumption of about 8,500 average households.

Construction work on the four new turbines started in March 2013; they will come online as early as October 2013.

The new turbines in the Eimsheim Wintersheim wind farm were acquired by Zurich-based Aravis Energy I LP. The contract of sale was signed at the end of July. Aravis Energy I LP is an experienced investment firm in the field of renewable energies and has made major investments in wind power and photovoltaic systems over the last three years.

This is the second deal inked by Energiequelle and Aravis Energy. The Swiss investor group was already involved in the takeover of the Ardin wind farm in France. Energiequelle will be responsible for managing the newly installed wind turbines
