US based private equity firm SPK Partners and UK private investors supported the company to achieve financial close.
Ener.co President and CEO Patrick M. Rathje said the finance will allow the company to complete critical research, development, and testing stages for its building efficiency technologies and position the company for commercialization at scale.
SPK Partners president Gregg Lerman said the company is impressed with Ener.co team for what they accomplished in their development year.
Lerman added, "Completed proof-of-concept demonstrations, patent filings, and strategic relationships formed confirm our initial beliefs in the value and growth prospects of this company."
