Under the contract, ENER-G will provide a 90kW ENER-G combined heat and power (CHP) unit, which will be installed, commissioned and maintained by Cornes at the agricultural biogas plant in Shikaoi, replacing the existing technology.

Cornes Biogas chief executive Toru Koyama said: "As Japan seeks to strengthen its energy resilience, there is strong demand for ENER-G’s biogas CHP systems for water treatment and anaerobic digestion projects."
ENER-G has launched new E-Power CHP remote monitoring and control system designed to enhance engine performance by managing more than 200 parameters on each CHP unit.
The system will send alerts on any anomalies or operational issues, enabling Cornes’ service engineers to run diagnostics, rectify problems remotely, or arrange an engineer visit, when needed.
Customers, using E-power, will be provided with instant insights into their CHP performance through a touch screen mounted onto the unit.
