EBITDA in the third quarter of 2007 totaled E2.25 billion, an increase of 18.2% compared to E1.9 billion in the same period in 2006.

Earnings before interest and taxes for the quarter totaled E1.62 billion, an increase of 22.5% compared to the same period in 2006. The result, compared to the increase in EBITDA, reflects higher depreciation, amortization and impairment losses amounting to E49 million, the firm said.

Group net income in the quarter amounted to E696 million, an increase of E34 million, or 5.1%, compared to the same period in 2006.

Revenues totaled E28.76 billion in the first nine months of 2007, up 0.5% over the same period in 2006. EBITDA totaled E6.71 billion in the first nine months of 2007, an increase of 7.1% compared to E6.26 billion in the same period of 2006.

Group net income amounted to E2.68 billion in the first nine months of 2007, compared to E2.64 billion for the same period in 2006.
