Through this agreement Enel has the exclusive rights to eight power projects, all at an early stage of development and will be entitled to acquire the same projects once they are completely developed by SoWiTec.

These projects have initial capacity ranging between 56MW to 200MW and are located in the northeastern part of Brazil, specifically in the states of Ceara, Bahia, Rio Grande do Norte and Sergipe.

As a result of this agreement, Enel will further increase its presence in the Brazilian renewable energy market. Enel has been present in Brazil since 2006, and it operates 20 hydro plants for a total installed capacity of 92MW.
