Italian electricity giant Enel is planning to build three power plants in Slovakia for a total of €822 million, according to local news reports.
The company, which is due to buy a 66% stake in Slovakian power producer Slovenske Elektrarne, is expected to develop a €218 million gas-fired turbine station, a €324 million coal-fired plant and a €280 million hydro-electric plant.
