Ormat Nevada, as per the contract, will provide two air-cooled Ormat Energy Converters for Enel’s Cove Fort geothermal power plant project in Utah, US.

Commenting on the development Ormat president and CEO Yoram Bronickim expressed his confidence in executing the project, as the company had in the past deployed similar equipment with success.

"This development will incorporate Ormat’s low-operating-cost design and our consistent project completion standards," added Bronickim.

The two companies had signed an interim EPC contract in April 2012, worth $9m.
