
Financial details of the deal have not been revealed.
The acquisition increases ENcome’s European solar plant servicing portfolio to about 800MWp, of which 300MWp is in the UK and 250MWp in Germany.
ENcome is planning further acquisitions through a Buy&Build strategy.
The German operations of abakus have already been transferred into the new company abakus Engineering based in Gelsenkirchen.

abakus solar has about 20 years of experience in photovoltaic (PV) wholesaling business, project development, EPC and O&M of PV power plants.
Recently, abakus solar had to realign its business strategy due to regulatory changes, in which there was a sharp decline in PV power plant building. The company is now focusing more on O&M and engineering services for PV plants.
