Enbridge has announced that Al Monaco, currently the president of Enbridge gas distribution, will become the executive vice president of major projects and Steve Wuori, currently the CFO and executive vice president of corporate development, will assume the position of executive vice president of liquids pipelines.

The company has also announced that Richard Bird, currently executive vice president of liquids pipelines, will assume the position of CFO and executive vice president of corporate development. Janet Holder has been appointed as president of Enbridge gas distribution, replacing Mr Monaco, and will relocate from Edmonton to Toronto, Canada.

Mr Monaco will lead the newly created major projects business unit, which will be responsible for project execution once commercial viability for a major project has been established. Mr Monaco will relocate from Toronto to Calgary, Canada.

Mr Wuori will be responsible for ensuring the successful integration of completed projects into the Enbridge system. Mr Bird will lead the finance organization to ensure adequate funding is available to support the growth. Ms Holder spent 12 years in senior positions in Enbridge gas distribution before assignments brought her to Calgary and Edmonton, Canada.
