India-based power generation and distribution products and solutions provider EMCO has announced the acquisition of Shekhawati Transmission Service Company from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam.
EMCO acquired 100% equity share capital of Shekhawati Transmission to set up 220 kV S/C Sikar (400kV) – Nawalgarh Jhunjhunu power transmission line with 220/132kV GSS at Nawalgarh.
The company will carry out the set up work and associated scheme/work on build-own-operate and maintain basis.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Shekhawati Transmission Service Company is a public sector unit that was set up in 2009.
Founded in 1964, EMCO provide solutions and products for up to 765kV for power generation, distribution, and transmission utilities and industry.
