Elster has secured a contract from the Macao Water Supply Company for the supply of approximately 26,000 V100 volumetric water meters and 600 meters, over the coming year.
Under the contract, Elster has agreed to provide water meters from its bulk water meter portfolio, including Q4000.
The company said it already has 100,000 water meters installed in Macau, China.
V100 volumetric meters, which are available in sizes from 15mm to 40mm, perform in accordance with international ISO 4064 standards.
Elster said Q4000 electromagnetic bulk meter is ideal for utility applications including network monitoring and commercial billing.
The Q4000 features bi-directional pulse communications that are fully compatible with data logging and advanced meter reading equipment.
Elster is engaged in advanced metering infrastructure and integrated metering and utilization solutions to the gas, electricity and water industries.
