Under the €83m contract, the company will be responsible for engineering, supply and construction of the project.
The contract also covers operation and maintenance of the farm for two years, as well as construction of the control building and access roads.
To be located in the city of Maan, the 66MW wind project will include 33 turbines with 2MW capacity each.
The wind farm is expected to be operational by 2016.
The wind farm will be situated on a plot adjacent to the University Al-Hussein, around 7 km north-east of the city of Maan in southern Jordan.
Said to be second wind power project promoted by Jordan, the Maan wind farm will be financed with a subsidy from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
