The arrangement was approved by Eldorado and European Goldfields security holders on 21 February 2012 and it is scheduled to close on 24 February 2012.

Under the deal, holders of European Goldfields common shares will receive 0.85 of an Eldorado common share and $0.0001 in cash for each common share of European Goldfields held.

The transaction is subject to conditions precedent, including obtaining required regulatory approvals.

Eldorado is a gold producing, exploration and development company actively growing businesses in Turkey, China, Brazil and Greece.
