The company expects that EffTrack will save the university over 1.3MW of electricity per year and reduce greenhouse gases by over 900 tons per year once it is fully implemented.

The company said that the EffTrack system is the only web-based chiller optimization tool available to date, saving facilities time, energy and money.

Efficiency Technologies, the wholly-owned operating subsidiary of EffTec International, president Keith Johnson said that the installation at UNM is a significant development for EffTec’s business plan as it solidifies the company’s presence in the educational facilities market.
