The company reported EBITDA of E125.5 million for the first quarter of 2008. In terms of EBITDA margin, EDP Renovaveis (EDPR) achieved superior margins in all countries where it operates driving to an 81% EBITDA margin at the consolidated level.
EDPR estimates to install on average 1.4GW per year to meet its target of increasing installed wind capacity to more than 10.5GW by 2012.
In comparison with 2007, installed capacity increased 67MW, while capacity under construction increased from 663MW to 1,150MW.
