Founded in 2004, Fotosolar is active in the development, construction and maintenance of ground and roof-based photovoltaic (PV) power plants. The company has completed several solar farms in Spain.
EDF Energies Nouvelles (EDF-EN) initially acquired a 45.5% shareholding in Fotosolar in 2006, subsequently increasing its stake to 50% in early 2008.
