This photovoltaic complex is reportedly the most powerful such facility to have received authorization in France. Construction will start shortly, with commissioning scheduled to take place in several stages from late 2008 onwards.

This complex will supply the public electricity grid with electricity equivalent to the annual consumption of over 23,700 inhabitants, produced by more than 100,000 photovoltaic panels manufactured by the French company Photowatt.

The facility is expected to avoid 13,000 tonnes in CO2 emissions per annum, which is equivalent to the emissions produced by over 5,000 vehicles.
