EDF Energies Nouvelles has reported consolidated revenues of E560.5 million in 2007, a 67.4% increase when compared to consolidated revenues of 2006. At constant exchange rates, revenues rose by 77% to E592.5 million.
The company said that the power generation segment posted revenue growth of 26.4% owing to dynamic wind energy production.
Paris Mouratoglou, chairman of EDF Energies Nouvelles, said: During 2007, EDF Energies Nouvelles enjoyed a very steep rise in its generation revenues, a crucial factor for growth in its earnings, on the back of the very strong dynamics of our wind energy operations.
The development and sale of structured assets segment, which has a major impact on our revenues, also achieved strong growth thanks to a record fourth quarter in the US.
