The two year agreement has been with one of the primary shippers to the Gate terminal.
The shipping includes EDF Group to take additional deliveries of LNG in North West Europe before its own terminal is commissioned in Dunkirk.
EDF Trading Global Head of Gas Steve Lewis said the company is pleased in having access to this new facility that will enable us to deliver gas to the EDF Group and our third party customers in The Netherlands.
EDF Trading has master agreements with the major LNG producers worldwide and has recently sold its 150th LNG cargo.
Activities include terminal operations, re-gasification, downstream marketing, offshore transportation management and hedging services to producers and major consumers of gas.
