The St Isidore solar project consists of two solar PV installations located six kilometers apart, near the town of St Isidore in the Municipality of the Nation, Ontario.
The second 11.8MWp installation, St Isidore B, began delivering clean electricity to the Hydro One distribution grid in late December 2011, while the first 11.5MWp installation, St Isidore A, came online in December 2010.
These two installations combined will deliver nearly 24MWp under the Government of Ontario’s Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program.
The St Isidore B site consists of 152,000 panels, which will generate solar energy to meet the peak demands of about 3,500 Ontario homes.
enXco Service Canada will provide long-term operations and maintenance services.
