The company will supply switchgear, panel boards, switchboards, motor control center lineups, Power Xpert remote meter monitoring software, power factor correction capacitors, arc flash labels and training, and system startup, unit substations, and a combination of drives.
Eaton received the contract through the electrical contractor Hypower, which is also Eaton’s customer.
Eaton power distribution operations president Rich Stinson said the company’s ability to meet Hypower’s deadlines continues to solidify our position as a valuable partner of government organizations and the companies that serve them.
This project enables Hypower to provide the VA Medical Center with an electrical distribution system that will help maximize energy efficiency and save money of the taxpayers Stinson added.
The medical center is currently under construction and is financed by the federal government .
