US-based diversified power management company Eaton has signed an agreement with Sadara Chemical Company to supply motor control, power distribution solutions and engineering services.

Sadara Chemical Company is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and The Dow Chemical Company.

As per the multimillion dollar agreement, Eaton will provide equipment and services to improve the reliability and safety of Sadara’s fully integrated chemical complex, which is currently under construction in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.

Eaton’s Electrical Sector will provide custom electrical solutions to the chemical complex to improve safe and reliable power distribution at the complex.

In addition, Eaton’s Electrical Service and Systems division will provide Sadara with electrical system startup assistance and training.

Eaton Electrical Sector Europe, Middle East and Africa Region president Frank Campbell said the company is well positioned to help enhance electrical safety and reliability at the facility.

"Sadara will expand production of important chemical products and advance industrialization, job creation and innovation," Campbell added.
