Under the contracts, the company will recommend improvements to conserve resources as well as develop standardized and simplified designs.
The US-based firm will perform detailed investigation and planning for the projects which have an estimated contract value of $35m.
Eaton will also help the military remotely monitor and control equipment meters and systems at diverse locations within the continental US, Alaska, Hawaii and the US Territories.
Eaton Electrical Service and Systems Division VP and GM Paul Cody noted that energy efficiency is directly connected to measuring, monitoring and managing energy usage.
"This initiative will help defense facilities analyze energy usage, improve efficiency and provide insight into cost savings and downtime prevention," Cody added.
The service contracts would result in improvement of the efficiency of utility monitoring and control systems (UMCS) and building automation systems (BAS), among others.
The projects have a completion date in March 2017.
