Energy-efficient solutions provider Eaton has entered into a framework agreement with Great Wall Motors (GWM) to create a long-term strategic partnership to improve automobile performance and develop advanced technologies for the hydraulic and electrical industries.

Eaton Asia Pacific president Curt Hutchin said GWM is one its key partners in China’s vehicle market.

"The new framework agreement reflects our confidence in and commitment to China’s growing transportation market," Hutchin added.

"We will continue to work closely with Great Wall to provide safe and reliable solutions that improve vehicle performance and reduce energy consumption."

Besides, at Tech Day event held at GWM’s Baoding facility in China’s Hebei province, Eaton has exhibited its products for GWM vehicles, as well as solutions for electrical safety, ‘green’ switches and lean assembly lines.

During the event, Eaton has displayed its vehicle technologies such as limited-slip differentials, advanced fuel evaporation control systems, superchargers and variable valve lift technologies.
