The Wheeler Plant which includes the associated Mills Ranch Compressor Station is built on a 50-acre site owned by Eagle Rock.
Eagle Rock’s new gas processing facility is at the center of the existing high-pressure gathering system near multiple residue gas pipeline outlets.
The company also built other intra-system pipeline enhancements near the facility to further increase the gathering, transportation and marketing of gas to and from the Wheeler Plant.
Eagle Rock has invested $65m to build the facilities, associated gathering and pipelines.
The supporting infrastructure and the plant site have been designed to accommodate one or more additional expansions.
With the new plant, Eagle Rock has more than 500MMcf/d of cryogenic processing capacity that serves the Granite Wash play.
