DTE Energy Services and Washington Group International have formed an alliance under which the latter will become the company of choice for engineering and construction support for DTE projects in the merchant power and industrial energy sectors.
The alliance will be managed by Washington Group’s Princeton, New Jersey office. DTE is based in Michigan. Its principal operating subsidiary is the utility Detroit Edison. One of the first DTE Projects involving Washington Group is a proposed 320MW merchant power station in the Midwest utilising four GE 7EA gas turbines which DTE recently purchased.
