DP&L, which has been a part of Rebuilding Together Dayton for 10 years, will provide supplies to the effort as well.
As part of the company’s energy efficiency programs, 270 energy-saving compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) will be distributed to all 27 participating homes.
The company said that each homeowner should save $300 over the life of the light bulbs, since CFLs use up to 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs. All homes will also receive weatherization products to help conserve energy. DP&L will help all customers save energy and money with everyday home and business needs.
