The new survey areas include designated deep-water blocks as well as other offshore areas.
The firm will gather an extra 9,000km of 2D seismic in its ongoing North West Africa Atlantic Margin (NWAAM) project extending the project around 26,000km from Northern Mauritania to Southern Guinea Conakry.
These new long-offset 2D data will form part of the ongoing NWAAM project commenced last year.
Dolphin’s Partner in the project, TGS will process the data.
