The three solutions, dobleARMS, the M7100 Power Apparatus Analyzer, and Protection Suite 2.2, will help utilities streamline testing and management tools.
The first solution dobleARMS will provide utilities with an online monitoring and risk evaluating platform that easily clubs the real-time monitoring and offline test data with a modern suite of analytical tools.
The platform helps companies monitor and prioritize actions, while providing relevant information to prepare long-term replacement and maintenance strategies.
Doble’s M7100 addresses two main concerns of utilities – safety and time. The solution reduces the number of trips by technicians to solve a problem by almost one third and improves safety and field work quality.
The M7100 solution also automates multiple tests, previously performed by several pieces of equipment, and reduces testing time from seven hours to one and a half hours, thereby resulting in more maintenance in less time.
Doble’s Protection Suite 2.2 software has been designed to help utilities perform their protection testing, data management and compliance reporting and meet the compliance standards of North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
Doble Engineering Company president David Zabetakis said the company understands the pressure on utilities to ensure grid reliability, while meeting the increasing demand and compliance standards.
"Our mission is to help our clients become more efficient as we work together to maintain the reliability of an aging and changing power grid," Zabetakis added.
