ZigBee is the only standards-based wireless technology designed to address the unique needs of low-cost, low-power wireless sensor and control networks.
Since ZigBee can be used almost anywhere, is easy to implement and needs little power to operate, the opportunity for growth into new markets, as well as innovation in existing markets, is limitless.
ZigBee forms a key part of the UK specification for smart metering and DNV KEMA is therefore extending its services into this area to complement its existing and diverse portfolio of smart metering solutions.
By providing its broader global testing expertise into the ZigBee domain, DNV KEMA can provide a one-stop-shop for smart metering services as part of its drive to deliver a positive contribution to a smart energy future.
