DNV GL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation (KESCO) in the DNV GL Singapore office today.

The MoU was signed by Mathias Steck, ?Executive Vice President Asia Pacific, DNV GL – Energy and Lee Sang Kwon, Chief Executive Officer, KESCO.

DNV GL, with its knowledge and global experience in the various fields of energy asset management, will through KESCO lend its expertise to KOREAN clients. The expertise will consist of risk management and technical competency and utilize Cascade, a technical asset management solution for the energy industry.

Cascade is an innovative enterprise solution integrating relevant technical and operational information to enable an objective assessment of asset criticality, health, and risk. This assessment is triggering mitigating actions and bringing relevant insights to all levels of asset management responsibility, drawing conclusions and triggering actions. It is unique in combining deep roots and proven experience in the transmission and distribution asset management domain and provides very high flexibility.

The DNV GL Singapore office hosted a delegation of 5 from KESCO on 5th April. The KESCO delegation plans to also visit the DNV GL – Energy global headquarters in the Arnhem, the Netherlands from the 6th to 8th April.
