Serbia’s Termoelektro and Russia’s Silovye Mashiny have signed a six-year contract worth US$7.5M to overhaul all six generating units at the Djerdap 1 hydroelectric power plant in Serbia, according to the Tanjug news agency.
Implementation of the contract depends upon the signing of an agreement between Serbia and Montenegro and Russia for the clearing of state debts accumulated between the two countries.
