Australian exploration company De Gray Mining has completed an 8 hole, 1,179.6 meter diamond drilling program at the SM6 Prospect of the Sierra Morena Project.

The company reported prospective mineralization on the Western Vein zone at relatively shallow depths while veining at the Eastern Vein has been intersected at the upper levels of an epithermal system.

Western Vein that has wide zones of 10 to 60 meters width multiphase vein has revealed brecciation with highly anomalous gold, silver and Arsenic.

De Grey executive chairman Peter Batten stated that the miner had been fortunate to have spotted potential prospect SM6 at early stage in the exploration of an epithermal system.

"The drilling has highlighted the significance of the Western Vein with large anomalous zones intersected in the drilling suggesting good volume potential deeper in the system," said Batten.

De Gray will now employ geophysicists to target the potential position of the gold-silver zone within the system and will commence in February, expected to be concluded in 4 weeks.
