The new cryogenic plant will be built with a capacity to process 200 million cubic feet per day and is expected to become a one-stop service for the producers.

The two companies have formed a joint venture company called DCP Eagle Ford Joint Venture to fund and build the new Goliad plant. DCP Midstream owns two-third of the Goliad plant, while the remaining one-third is owned by DCP Midstream Partners.
The new plant will be the seventh facility by DCP in South Texas and will be a part of its midstream system which includes 9,656km of gathering systems, over 1 billion cubic feet a day of processing capacity, access to interstate and intrastate gas markets and access to Sand Hills pipeline.
The new gas processing plant is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2014.
