A proposal to build an A$40M (US$30.5M) dam south of Blayney in New South Wales, Australia, to improve water supply in the Town of Canowindra is being considered by Central Tablelands Water (CTW).

Under the proposal a new dam would be built in a gorge 2.5km downstream from the existing Lake Rowlands, which already supplies water for a number of towns and villages from Blayney through to Grenfell, including Canowindra.
