Following the vacation of a stay order by the Supreme Court, the Dabhol power plant in Maharashtra has resumed its operations recently with Petronet LNG supplying gas, reports the Press Trust of India.

The news agency reported that power minister Sushilkumar Shinde said: The (Dabhol) project has begun operations with 600MW five-six days ago.

The Dabhol plant, which will have a total capacity of 2,150MW after all three units start, is currently owned by Ratnagiri Gas and Power.
