The three-year contract with developers Dong Energy and Scottish Power includes an optional extension for additional two years.
CWind’s Lieutenant P vessel is already working on site and is one of the company’s three 20T MPCs scheduled to visit the project.
It will be joined by new fleet member CWhisper 20m SWATH later in 2014.

The West of Duddon Sands offshore wind farm is located in the East Irish Sea, about 14km from the nearest coast on Walney Island, Cumbria.
The project will feature 108 Siemens Wind Power 3.6MW geared turbines, which will deliver enough renewable energy for over 300,000 homes in the UK.
The wind farm started generating power in January 2014 when four turbines were connected to the grid.
