The solar system consists of ground-mounted, fixed-tilt structures supporting nearly 30,000 solar modules.
The project is expected to generate more than 9.7 million kWh of electricity in its first year of operation and has an expected lifespan of 25 years.
Cupertino chief commercial officer John Curcio said that the large-scale project will help SCE generate enough power at its peak to serve 3,250 average Central Valley homes using clean natural resources.
The company started construction of the solar system in September 2010.
