Coulomb’s South Central regional distributor Verdek-EV and Positive Energy Resources of Houston were instrumental in selling and installing the charging stations.
The EV and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) owners can recharge their vehicles at the Central Parking Systems ChargePoint stations by obtaining a ChargePass smart. Central Parking Systems will also provide access and a ChargePass smart card and user guide for the first time users.
ChargePoint Network provides information about the charging status by SMS text or email notification, location of unoccupied charging stations via smart phones. It also offers authenticated access, authorized energizing, smart grid integration for utility load management with future V2G capabilities and a ChargePoint iPhone App.
