Results were obtained from the first 16 holes of the phase II, a 23 hole resource expansion and conversion program.

The resource expansion and conversion program at Nevada is part of the ongoing Mayflower mine development study.

Subject to the outcome of the program, the company will implement a two-stage mine development plan and is likely to begin operations to produce gold in 2014.

Corvus CEO Jeff Pontius said that with the continued results from the ongoing drilling, metallurgical and mine design work, Mayflower is emerging as a potential mining project.

"In addition, Corvus has continued with its targeting work on the Yellow Jacket high-grade gold system and will start follow up drilling on this exciting new, Nevada high-grade vein system within the month," he added.

Corvus wholly owns the North Bullfrog Project, which covers nearly 43 km² in southern Nevada.
